Workshop Medusa Valley — Kampus Hybernská, Prague

Jellyfish have inhabited the oceans for millions of years. This workshop for young visitors introduces these fascinating marine organisms in a playful way.

The workshop is divided into two sessions. From 2:00 PM it is designed for children aged 4 to 10 - they will draw their own jellyfish and create a short animated film from their drawings. From 4:30 PM, the session for children aged 10 and up begins, where they will learn basic technical skills such as soldering and programming LED strips.

"Medusa Valley" is a project by Greek artist Yiannis Kranidiotis, created as part of the "Co-Vision" project as part of research into the impacts of climate change on the Greek coast. Greece is among the countries affected by these impacts - one of them is the increase in jellyfish in coastal areas. The project introduces children to the world of jellyfish, which are not only visually striking but also possess a number of little-known abilities.
