A mysterious story about loss and reconciliation unfolding during a family holiday that almost never happened. A young girl's mother, younger sister, and her former friend grieve a year after the girl's sudden death - at first each alone, later together they travel to Tenerife, where feelings of guilt, the possibility of forgiveness, and mysterious glimpses of the past emerge.

The film won the Un Certain Regard section at this year's Cannes Film Festival and is Germany's Oscar 2027 candidate.

The screening will be accompanied by a discussion with Birgit Minichmayr.
