Pekelné sáně Gallery, Kroměříž

exhibition culture

The exhibition presents the artist's inner landscape, where mythological images spontaneously emerge alongside his plein-air experience. Kašpar draws on Sumerian and Gnostic myths, with the expulsion from paradise as the central theme - a moment of awakening to one's own consciousness.

About the venue: Pekelné sáně Gallery

Galerie Pekelné sáně is a private gallery of contemporary Czech and European art in the centre of Kroměříž. It is housed in a reconstructed building that served as the stables of the 3rd Imperial Infantry Regiment in the mid-19th century, opened as a gallery in April 2023. Five exhibition spaces host more than 16 exhibitions a year, and every Thursday the gallery holds lectures and discussions with artists. The gallery was founded by collector and patron Josef Maixner.
