FAIRY TALE NIGHT - fairy tales for children at HORKA VANA 🔥🛁 2026/2027

Fairy Tale Night enters its 8th season. From October to March, 20 Saturday performances take place, each with a new story. The stage of Horka Vana will welcome back theatres that audiences already know, and three ensembles will perform here for the first time: Theatre za2, Theatre Elf, and Nosalci. The programme includes well-known fairy tale stories and original productions, puppet and live-action fairy tales, music and songs, as well as performances where children in the audience can participate.

PRACTICAL INFORMATION
Fairy Tale Night is intended for children approximately 3 to 12 years old.
🕙 Performance start: 10:00
⏱️ Performance duration: approximately 45 minutes

We recommend using advance booking - it is the only way to reserve a seat. Service will be faster, tickets are cheaper, and some performances often sell out completely. If your children can watch the fairy tale without you, you can stay in the Horka Vana cafe during the performance and have a coffee or something from the bar.

🚗 Parking: on weekends, parking in nearby parking zones outside the historic centre is free, and you can also use the large car park at Marianské náměstí.

📅 FAIRY TALE NIGHT PROGRAMME 2026/2027

October 24, 2026 | Theatre Pohádka | Three Fairy Tales with a Song
Three fairy tales, three little stories and plenty of songs. Two crickets will learn that it is better to help each other than to quarrel, a frozen king will need help, and a proud postman will get a chance to correct his behaviour. Theatre Pohádka's fairy tale picture book connects cheerful stories with well-known songs that children in the audience can join in with. This fairy tale opens this year's Fairy Tale Night season.
