Curator's Tour of the Terra Incognita Exhibition

How do media and measurement technologies shape our perception of the world and our relationship to it?

The Terra Incognita exhibition attempts to answer this question through film essays and gallery installations. It highlights processes that, over the long term, connect the representation of Earth with its understanding as a resource for extraction and transformation into capital. At the same time, it points out that the media and measurement instruments themselves depend on raw material extraction, as they contain various minerals and precious metals.

Exhibiting artists: David Blandy, Kryštof Brůha, Harun Farocki, Su Yu Hsin, Sasha Litvintseva & Beny Wagner, Ioana Vreme Moser, Bára Mrázková & Karolína Žižková, Susan Schuppli, Selmeci Kocka Jusko, Agustina Woodgate

The exhibition will be guided by its curator, Martin Netočný.
