Moimir Papalescu & The Nihilists + The Stylists

Two electronic formations connected to Moimir Papalescu meet on Thursday, October 15, 2026 at Roxy club in Prague.

Moimir Papalescu & The Nihilists is the trio that defined the sound of electronic punk in the Czech Republic. Moimir Papalescu, La Petite Sonja, and Hank J. Manchini will perform supported by saxophonist Peter van Krbetz - with raw energy, provocative lyrics, and hypnotic synths, pure "Analogue Voodoo".

The Stylists is another Moimir project, this time in the spirit of electropop, funky rhythms, and disco. Vocals are handled by Tony Graves (ex-Liquid Harmony, Monkey Business), with precise and danceable arrangements.

This is a benefit concert supporting people with serious mental illness. The organizer is the non-profit Fokus Praha, which has been helping people with mental health experience return to everyday life since 1990. Ticket proceeds go to community services provided by the organization.

After the concert, an afterparty with DJ Pavel Bidlo follows.
