Meeting the Creators of Czech Animated Stories

How does a first idea become a short animated story loved by entire generations? What happens behind the scenes before characters first appear on television?

Director, artist and animator Jiří Miška, longtime dramaturg of Czech television's animated series and Miloš Zvěřina, and composer Zdeněk Barták will take participants behind the scenes of Czech animation. Together they will share the journey from concept and initial sketches through dramaturgy and animation to the music that shapes the atmosphere of each story. Participants can expect memories, fascinating insights and stories about work that usually remains hidden from viewers.

This meeting is for children, parents and all adults who grew up watching Czech animated stories.
