Slipper Day with the film Chica Checa

Slipper Day on October 14 supports mobile hospices. The event at Kino Atlas will be hosted by Vanda Hybnerová and Miroslav Kumhalla, with the film Chica Checa on the programme. Before the screening, there will be a short presentation about end-of-life care and how to fulfil the wishes of loved ones to die at home.

Follows a screening of the new Czech film starring Jan Cina in the lead role - about family relationships and life in the countryside, about how powerful final wishes can be. An effort to make a ninety-year-old grandmother happy brings Lukáš and his mother Zdena together and may surprise even them.

Slipper Day is the culmination of the "Die at Home" awareness campaign, which anyone can join - simply put on slippers in support of mobile hospices. More information at dozitdoma.cz.
