young members tour: Annette Messager

A brief but intense guided tour during the young members party will introduce the work of French artist Annette Messager, who explores the body, identity, relationships and everyday life with humour, irony and unease. Somewhat funny, somewhat dark, somewhat weird.

Installations, photographs, drawings, objects and texts create a world on the border between reality and fiction, tenderness and grotesque. Annette Messager is one of the most distinctive figures in contemporary French art.
