Report, or A Comedy About Courtship

The year is 1938. Jeff Kincaid, a renowned but somewhat rusty reporter, faces unexpected competition from Mary Hayes, a bold, clever, and determined newcomer. Whoever writes the better report about a wedding in the newspaper owner's family wins.

What seems like a routine assignment quickly becomes an exciting adventure through suspicious newlyweds, family secrets, and one unusual dog. It's a mix of screwball comedy, detective story, and film noir parody - full of witty exchanges, absurd situations, and flirtation. Because sometimes the line between heated rivalry and mutual attraction is very thin.
