DOHOR + Nerost + Brána
Drone, folk, autotune. Three faces of darkened folk will take the stage at the Nová libeňská synagoga: the mist-shrouded DOHOR, the burning diaries of the band Nerost, and the roaring underground river of the duo Brána.
DOHOR
In their contemplative sound, organ tones dissolve into the mists of the Vltava's banks and the smoke of a smouldering fire, where autotune settles on lichen at dawn. Beyond their long friendship, shared outings, and board-game nights, the quartet shares almost no musical common ground - yet they have come together to join forces.
Nerost
A folk trio about which listeners have written that it faces the fear of the future with gentle ordinariness. They play songs about the breakdown of biological rhythms in urban nature, about crumbling walls of memory on the city's edge - songs that make you want to watch the sky or gaze out a bus window. They play double bass, accordion, and guitar; in the synagogue they will also perform with Václav on drums.
Brána
A drone-folk duo that combines influences of Moravian folk music with dark drone compositions. The result is a distantly familiar sound that feels as old as time itself.
