Author Evenings: Getaway

Getaway is a five-member band from Frýdek-Místek playing indie rock and indie pop with soul influences.

Three guitars interweave in a way that creates a sound ranging from delicate passages to dense rock sections — without keyboards or samples. The band's repertoire increasingly features original compositions sung in both English and Czech, gradually replacing cover versions.
