Alf Carlsson & Jiří Kotača Quartet

Swedish guitarist Alf Carlsson and Czech trumpeter Jiří Kotača have joined forces in an international quartet born from their shared studies in Rotterdam. Their music blends lyrical Scandinavian melody with modern jazz and elements of R'n'B, hip hop, pop and rock, supported by live electronics.

The quartet is completed by Slovak jazz musicians Peter Korman and Kristián Kuruc. The band has performed dozens of concerts across Europe and Asia, and this year releases their new album Our Stories.

Line-up: Alf Carlsson - guitar, Jiří Kotača - trumpet, alto saxophone, Peter Korman - double bass, bass guitar, Kristián Kuruc - drums.
