A Little Will Change was created as part of Zone of Interest, a series of short author-driven documentaries by Czech Television responding to current social issues and transformations in contemporary Czechia. Part of the series is directly connected to the drama series Ratolesti, a ten-part family drama inspired by real social and criminal cases. The documentary follows the second episode of Ratolesti titled Brácha, in which a family and school staff seek ways to approach a twelve-year-old child navigating their gender identity - while the series captures the family at the beginning of this experience, A Little Will Change brings the same theme into real life.

At the center of the story is seventeen-year-old trans student Yuri and her mother Lucie, who supports her daughter while also leading a support group for families of trans teenagers. The film approaches a topic often caught up in heated political debates differently - instead of arguments, it offers listening and concrete human experience. Kateř Tureček sums it up: "We need more human stories, not culture wars."

The screening will be accompanied live by the band Favorite Obsession, which composed original music for the film moving between dream pop and shoegaze - with dreamy guitars, melancholic atmosphere, and emotionally open lyrics.
