Theatre Gold presents the play "Promoted Engineers" on October 9, 2026 at Divadlo U Hasičů.

The story takes place in the 1990s at a fictional sports complex VÚVR in the imaginary village of Jizbice. Four newly qualified engineers apply for positions as sports technicians at the newly built complex. Later, a fifth colleague joins them - an experienced engineer who has worked abroad. However, their technical education does not meet the requirements, so a coach is called in to train them, which leads to numerous comic situations. Romance is also part of the mix.

The play's resolution will reveal whether they all pass the final exam.

The musical part of the work features selected hits by the band Rangers Plavci.
