War with the Newts

"Thank God we have no seashores!"

A dark cabaret by Theatre D21, the ensemble's latest return to the legacy of Karel Čapek.

"First you didn't know them, then you despised them, and now you fear them. You don't want them, but they are already here. Welcome to the panopticon of today's world and watch the sea rise onto the earth's shores. Our cabaret will plunge you into modern history! We will sing, we will dance, and perhaps even... a newt will come!"

Those who wish to support Theatre D21 during difficult times can do so by purchasing a sponsor ticket.
