BrKo Ensemble in Prague
The second season of the BrKo Ensemble autumn concert series continues. The fourth and final stop of this year's tour is Prague, at Žižkov Atrium, where the ensemble will present its new concert programme.
BrKo Ensemble is a seven-member group of young musicians formed at the Brno Conservatory. Its members share a passion for classical music and folk traditions, seeking their own path between these two worlds. With violin, viola, double bass, cimbalom, and vocals, they bring a fresh perspective to works by Czech composers inspired by folk music - reimagining well-known pieces with cimbalom and creating their own arrangements.
The programme features music by Bedřich Smetana, Antonín Dvořák, and Leoš Janáček, complemented by compositions rooted in Moravian folk tradition.
BrKo Ensemble - we play from the heart.
