A summer drawing and painting course led by painter and instructor Josef Bubeník takes place in the vicinity of Pražákův palác.

The course runs from Monday, August 17 to Thursday, August 20, 2026, always from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The number of places is limited – tickets can be purchased via GoOut, on the MG website, or at the Pražákův palác box office.

About the venue: Pražák Palace

Pražákův palác is a neo-Renaissance building constructed in 1873–1874 to a design by Viennese architect Theophil von Hansen for Moravian politician JUDr. Alois Pražák. Since 1985 it has been part of the Moravian Gallery in Brno and serves as its headquarters. Permanent exhibitions cover art from the 20th century to the present, complemented by temporary shows and a courtyard sculpture park. The palace is a protected cultural monument of the Czech Republic.
