Brain We Are: Love & Life Transformation | Honza Vojtko & Kasia Korda

Brain We Are Mini Fest explores two themes: relationships and love in today's world with couples therapist Honza Vojtko, and life transformation in the context of therapy, psychedelics, and major life events with therapist Kasia Korda. The programme includes a Slam Poetry performance by Matěj from the band Matěj! and concludes with Ecstatic Dance led by DJ Martin Karcol.

In conversation with Honza Vojtko, you'll discover how to cultivate relationships amid major life changes, why modern relationships often hurt us, and how to work with intimacy, communication, and uncertainty in the digital age. Honza Vojtko is one of the Czech Republic's most renowned couples therapists and will help map the emotional dynamics of relationships during times of great change.

Kasia Korda, researcher at the National Institute of Mental Health (NUDZ) and therapist conducting psychedelic-assisted therapy, will discuss what major life changes do to us and how to approach them, how to recognize when it's time for change, and how psychedelics, meditation, and deep flow states can catalyze these transitions and why integration matters. She will also address missing rituals and where masks begin and end.

The cultural programme features Vojtka's 30-day saxophone challenge and a performance by slam poet Matěj Plachta from the band Matěj! - 2024 Czech slam poetry champion from Vodňany, who hosts, plays in the band, raps, and organizes the Slamatéři scene. The event concludes with Ecstatic Dance led by DJ Martin Karcol, with a brief introduction from Vojta - movement as meditation, the body as a tool for release, and music as a catalyst for integration.

The event is designed as a space for discussion, questions, and new perspectives on relationships, ourselves, and our own lives.
