Prison Season

Beyond seven mountains and seven forests stood a kingdom where every girl grew up with the belief that if she was good enough, patient enough, and faithfully followed all the rules, a happy ending awaited her.

It looks like a fairy tale - ball gowns, pearls, a waltz behind closed doors, bows and marks for behaviour. Prison Season is movement theatre for two performers, created from authentic testimonies of women after serving their sentences. Only the castle is invented. Do they deserve a happy ending?
