HUMAN ZOO - Gospel Anarchy
Nova Spirála, Výstaviště, Prague
A large, colorful, and loud show directed by Viktor Tauš and composed by Roman Holý. Forty performers from the Czech scene and new generations meet on one stage across genres - actors, singers, rappers, dancers, performers, and boxers.
Music, movement, authentic stories, and physical struggle transform into ritual - a celebration of unity in all its diversity. Boxers, rappers, singers, krumpers, actors, and children must fight, dance, shout, and move their way through it all. In their own image.
Director Viktor Tauš created the acclaimed production Amerikánka. Thirty minutes before the show begins, a dramaturgical introduction takes place beneath the stage at Nová Spirála with director Viktor Tauš, choreographer Kristína Tukan Martanovičová, and screenwriter Lubor Dohnal.
Nová Spirála at Prague's Exhibition Grounds is a newly reconstructed cultural venue. It features a circular 360° auditorium, a rotating stage with a trap door, immersive sound, video mapping capabilities, and suspension rigs for acrobats. In the Great Hall, these features transform each performance into an intense live show - thanks to the circular layout with single-row balconies, audiences find themselves within reach of the artists.
