From April 24, 2024, visitors can see the results of the 1st International Symposium of Glass Christmas Ornaments in the permanent exhibition "World of Wonders" at the museum. The museum organized it as part of the International Triennial of Glass and Jewelry JABLONEC 2023.

The State Museum of Glass and Costume Jewellery, founded in 1904, is the only museum in the world combining both fields under one roof. It occupies an Art Nouveau building - the former Zimmer & Schmidt export house, listed as a cultural monument - and holds over 12 million items, including the second largest glass collection in the Czech Republic and the world's largest public collection of glass Christmas ornaments. Three permanent exhibitions run alongside changing displays, and a striking glass extension shaped like a cut crystal was added in 2020.
