XIII. Century is a rock legend that created the gothic rock genre in the Czech Republic in the early 1990s. Since then, the band has been a leading representative of this genre not only in Czechia but also on the European scene. Petr Štěpán and his brother Pavel Štěpán, the drummer, have formed the unchanging core of the group from the beginning.
