KC Vozovna, Prague

concert Folk party culture

Folk Knock is a balfolk duo that started with spontaneous jamming at Prague dance nights. Two experienced musicians decided to share their passion for traditional music and dance together, and their project soon expanded to include original compositions.

About the venue: KC Vozovna

KC Vozovna is an intergenerational community cultural centre in the Žižkov district of Prague, opened in November 2015. It was created by reconstructing a 1970s supermarket, designed by Projektil architekti, and is located in the basement of a building that also houses a branch of the Municipal Library. The centre hosts film screenings, children's theatre, courses, workshops, and neighbourhood community events. It includes a café, a multifunctional hall, and an open foyer.
