Coraline and the World Behind the Secret Door

Director Henry Selick, creator of "The Nightmare Before Christmas" and "James and the Giant Peach", brings a beloved novel to life through stop-motion animation, crafting a visually stunning tale.

Eleven-year-old Coraline Jones is a curious and restless girl navigating the early struggles of adolescence. Her life becomes even more dreary when her family moves from a vibrant city to a remote backwater, where her parents are constantly busy and have little time for her. The neighbours offer no relief either - two retired actresses and a former Russian circus performer, Mr. Bobinsky.

But one day Coraline discovers a hidden door in the house. Behind it lies an alternate world - at first glance similar to the real one, yet entirely different and far better. There, her parents dote on her, and the neighbours turn out to be the most entertaining people imaginable. Coraline even begins to wonder if she might be happier staying there. But a talking cat keeps trying to warn her - things are not what they seem.
