Martin Filippi: Word Play

A full-length stand-up comedy show by Martin Filippi.

Audience members will hear a barrage of wordplay and jokes about relationships, family, health, the Czech language, and baldness. The word "girlfriend" will crop up in every other sentence - though by then she'll actually be his wife, but Martin probably won't manage to remember that. Not that he doesn't know she's his wife, just that he needs to get used to calling her that.

The show runs 90 minutes and features both new material and tried-and-tested jokes. Basic knowledge of Czech is expected from the audience - foreigners and Gen Z risk boredom at their own risk. The word "jeez" will also make an appearance. Profanity, on the other hand, is kept to a minimum.
