To Death

It is 1928. Viktor and Karel are lifelong friends, barely eighteen years old, with a promising future ahead. Everything changes when they get caught in a brawl and accidentally shoot the son of an influential businessman. Viktor flees to America, where he becomes a member of the mafia organization Murder Inc., while Karel goes to study medicine in Munich - at a time when Nazi ideology is spreading across Germany.

This blend of spy thriller, gangster drama, and western follows both protagonists over the next seventeen years. Each of their steps leads to an inevitable confrontation in a deadly duel. "Some people are made from the dust of the same star."

It is a theatrical adaptation of Jozef Karika's bestseller - a story full of tension, humor, and love. Those who wish to support Theatre D21 during difficult times can do so by purchasing sponsor tickets.
