At Hitler's Home, or Stories from Hitler's Kitchen

HaDivadlo, Brno

"Perhaps great history began at the railway station in the city of Brünn..."

A sarcastic comedy by Arnošt Goldflam — director, playwright, and longtime member of HaDivadlo — traces the greatest criminal of the planet from his rise, which began with failure at entrance exams to the Vienna Academy of Fine Arts, to a fantastically ironic escape to South America.

Individual scenes from the "Führer's" life do not take place in conference halls or crowded stands, but in his private sphere. Scenes from "Hitler's Kitchen" interweave fragments of reality with the author's ironic imagination and are full of grotesque humour and exaggeration.

Petr Jeništa plays the lead role.
