City of Fathers

Distinctive filmmaker Zdeněk Tyc brings a story of a father and son who share little more than their first name, Richard, and a prefab apartment in Adamov.

A burly, good-natured man in his thirties who works in a factory listens to metal and lets his girlfriend into his life only partially. His father, a subtle retired teacher who raised him alone after his mother left, embodies tenderness and understanding.

Drama, from 15 years old, 100 minutes.
