BrKo Ensemble in Kroměříž

The second season of the BrKo Ensemble autumn concert series continues - the third stop will be the Kroměříž Museum, where the ensemble will present its new concert programme.

BrKo Ensemble is a seven-member ensemble of young musicians founded at the Brno Conservatory. Its members are united by their study of classical music, love of folk traditions, and desire to forge their own path between two musical worlds. With violins, viols, double bass, cimbalom, and vocals, the ensemble brings a fresh perspective to works by Czech composers inspired by folk music - reimagining well-known compositions with cimbalom and creating their own arrangements.

The programme will feature music by Bedřich Smetana, Antonín Dvořák, and Leoš Janáček, as well as pieces rooted directly in Moravian folk tradition.

BrKo Ensemble - we play from the heart.
