Mexican filmmaker Alejandro González Iñárritu returns with his latest film Digger - which he describes as a "comedy of catastrophic proportions". The film stars Tom Cruise in the lead role, following the desperate attempt of an aging, most powerful man in the world to reverse a disaster he himself caused.

The double feature is complemented by Iñárritu's first American film, the drama 21 Grams, starring Sean Penn, Naomi Watts, Benicio del Toro, and Charlotte Gainsbourg.

About the venue: Kino Aero

Kino Aero is a cult single-screen art-house cinema in Prague's Žižkov district and one of the oldest film clubs in the Czech Republic. The functionalist building, designed by architect Jindřich Freiwald, opened on 10 November 1933. After a renovation and reopening in 1998, it became a key centre for independent cinema. It screens over 60 titles monthly, including director retrospectives, pre-premieres, late-night screenings, and themed film series. The hall seats 336 and offers simultaneous translation.
