Ellaboration - Dasha & Epoque Quartet

Ellaboration is the name of a collaborative project by vocalist Dasha and the ensemble Epoque Quartet, referencing the American jazz legend Ella Fitzgerald. The material consists of songs made famous by this jazz icon, which are here developed and elaborated into new dimensions. The project's sound is built on the combination of a string quartet with percussion instruments (hangdrum, vibraphone, cajón), on which Šimon Veselý excels. Most of the arrangements are the work of arranger Alexej Aslamas.
