Hyphen Dash (UA)

On Sunday, 4 October 2026, the Kyiv quartet Hyphen Dash will perform at Café V lese. The band blends jazz improvisation with electronics, hip-hop rhythms, and the energy of progressive rock. The lineup features Myshko Birchenko (drums), Yevhen Puhachov (guitar, bass guitar), Polina Maiboroda (keyboards, synthesizers), and Dmytro Startsev (keyboards, synthesizers).

Hyphen Dash emerged in 2019 from Kyiv's underground scene. They have recorded a live EP at the National Art Museum of Ukraine (NAMU), released a demo mixtape, and produced the album Basement 626, created roughly 10 kilometers from the front line, which was featured in Rolling Stone magazine. In 2025, they released the album LATE, on which they worked for six years. In autumn 2026, a new EP titled I Was Afraid of Stone Rooms is coming out - Prague audiences will hear the band with fresh material.

This concert is the second in the Prague OuttaBox series, which brings artists to Prague who work beyond established genre boundaries.
