Keks

Keks is a Czech rock band founded in 1981. The frontman is guitarist Štěpán Kojan, who co-founded the band with Petr Dudík and is the sole author of its songs.

In its early years, the band was influenced by groups such as Deep Purple, Sweet, and Slade. It gradually expanded its reach from the Benešov and Tábor region across the whole of Czechia, performing at festivals including Votvírák, Sázavafest, Benátská noc, and Okolo Třeboně. Throughout its career, the band has recorded several music videos, was a guest on the Czech tour of Smokie, and performed as the opening act for singer Suzi Quatro.

The band celebrated thirty years on stage in April 2011 with a concert in the main hall of Prague's Lucerna. In 2015, it placed 51st in the Český Slavík poll with 997 votes.
