THE QUEUES

An almost four-meter-tall bearded duo from Znojmo blending garage rock, lo-fi, punk and stoner rock influences with the power of a full-size band. Vocal lines complement distorted guitar riffs underscored by bass from a second amp - all together with drums, often built on machine-like repeating beats, creating a compact whole that they manage to carry through into their recordings.

CHORA SFAKION

A young post-punk band from Znojmo that released their debut album Féerie last year. The band's distinctive face is singer and author of much of the lyrics Michaela Frindová - her urgent vocals and stage energy make her a natural frontwoman. Dreamy vocals, shoegaze-distorted guitars, almost burning drums and mantra-like repeating bass lines. Recitation, sharp cymbals, screams and catchy melodies.

BIRTH LIFE DEATH DRIVE

Early nineties aesthetics. Birth, life and death as equal stakeholders in our existence. Grime, determinism and despair with a hint of hope that perhaps not everything is completely lost. Post mortem millennial soul. A final cry before the quiet and exhausting outro.
