A thematic walk, workshop, two lectures and discussion about Vsetín's architectural heritage - programme prepared by a collective of architects, historians and photographers.

13:00 - From the Mill Race to the Tower Block
Historian Pavel Mašláň will explore the history of the former Křivačkárna mill and Delta sawmill site, architect Jan Chlápek will follow with the latest residential development of Delta residence, and city architect Martina Hovořáková will discuss urban changes around the new railway station. Participants will then climb to the roof of Vsetín's tower block for a discussion about the city's past and future.

14:30 - Discovery Workshop in Public Space
A one-hour field workshop using the KIADU app on the theme "13 ingredients of a happy city". Participants walk a learning trail through 13 locations unlocked by GPS, each representing key elements of livability. The library will host joint evaluation and discussion with experts. The workshop concludes with a guided tour of Lower Square with architects Milan Chlápek and Libor Sošťák. The learning route in the app has been active since 26 September and remains available after the event. Suitable for children and adults.

16:00 - Discussion on City Livability (Masaryk Public Library)
Workshop results evaluation, two lectures and a panel discussion with the creators of Vsetín's public spaces. Architects Šimon Vitásek and Daniel Mňačko will present examples of cities in the Czech Republic and abroad, focusing on livability and architectural detail of public space in two 30-minute blocks.

The individual parts flow seamlessly into each other; you can attend selected blocks only. Led by: Šimon Vitásek, Jan Chlápek, Milan Chlápek, Libor Sošťák, Martina Hovořáková, Daniel Mňačko (architects), Petr Čaník (photographer), Pavel Mašláň (historian).
