Architecture Day: Opava - Opava's Panel Buildings

A guided cycling tour of Opava's panel apartment buildings with architectural historian Martin Pavlíček.

The route showcases notable examples of panel construction: a trio of polygonal semi-detached houses with floor plans reminiscent of space modules on Krnovská Street, late Brutalist architecture from the 1970s-80s transition near the construction school on Boženy Němcové Street, and selected buildings in the oldest part of the Kateřinky housing estate.

The event is co-organized by the Association for Opava and the SAM Association.
