Day of Architecture: The Silo and Us

A massive abandoned concrete silo has been scarring the skyline of a small, peaceful coastal town in southern Denmark for years. Just as the town seems ready to demolish the building, a group of artists and cultural entrepreneurs appears with a plan to transform this eyesore into an international arts centre.

Will they manage to convince the locals that this is their only hope to prevent depopulation and economic decline? The film is a portrait of the eternal clash between city and countryside, between intellectuals and people for whom art simply means nothing.
