Hope is not a feeling. It is something we do.

This October, the organization Ciocia Czesia celebrates six years of existence. The evening stems from the idea that hope is not something we wait for, but something we practice ourselves - through care, solidarity, and active engagement. The inspiration is kintsugi, the Japanese art of repairing broken objects without hiding their cracks: we celebrate what has been repaired, not erased.

The evening's programme includes live performances and DJ sets:

The evening also features workshops with Eva Svatoňová on strategies of right-wing and anti-abortion movements and ways to counter them. Ciocia Czesia has prepared curated karaoke, t-shirts with Risograph prints will be available, vegan BBQ from @lasreasprague, and birthday cakes. The gathering also takes place in the garden.
