Souvrat (Album Release)

On October 2, 2026, Souvrat will release their debut album New York Tapes on vinyl at A studio Rubín.

The record is raw and urgent, yet surprisingly quiet in places - it gives things time and space, smooths nothing over, explains nothing away. New York in the title doesn't function as a big-city cliché, but rather as the circumstance that allowed the album to break through to the surface.

The lyrics are personal and vivid, threaded with understated, often dark humour. They tell their story through detail and shorthand, through things said almost in passing. The record preserves the rawness of the recordings it grew from, while maintaining its own precision and shape.
