Divadlo v Řeznické is one of the smallest theatre stages in Prague, located in the Nové Město district. The theatre era began here in 1981 under the name Klub v Řeznické, and since 1994 it has been an officially recognised venue funded by Praha 1. The intimate chamber stage focuses on quality contemporary drama, Czech premieres, and unconventional stagings of classics, and has hosted notable artists such as Jan Hrušínský and Bára Hrzánová.
