The Li-Di Litoměřice theatre ensemble presents the premiere of the classic play by the Čapek brothers in an unconventional production.

The performance is intended for audiences aged 12 and over and runs for 70 minutes without an interval.

The Karel Hynek Mácha Theatre (Divadlo K. H. Máchy) is a municipal theatre in Litoměřice whose listed Classicist building was inaugurated in 1822, making it one of the oldest stone theatres in Bohemia. It was designed by architect Josef Gaube. Until 1945 it ranked among the most important German-language stages in Bohemia; after an extensive reconstruction it reopened in 1991 and today welcomes both professional and amateur companies from the Czech Republic and abroad.
