Hmlisto (SK) - Album Release Samoty, M. Puttnerová & M. Novák

Hmlisto is a Czech-Slovak family folk duo consisting of singer-songwriter Veronika Kicková and her son Ján. In June 2026, they released their fourth studio album Samoty on the Galén label, inspired by thirty years of life in mountain homesteads beneath Vtáčnik. The songs blend traditional music of the Western Carpathians with modern elements, electronics, and post-rock electric guitar. Following releases in Slovakia and Moravia, they bring the album to Prague. https://www.hmlisto.sk

The opening act features singer Marie Puttnerová (Jablkoň, Půljabkoň, Zvíře jménem Podzim) and guitarist Martin Novák (Robert Křesťan & Druhá tráva, Lanugo, Blue Shadows, Jaromír Honzák Quintet, Baromantika, David Dorůžka Trio). In their collaborative project, they combine Puttnerová's original songs with musical settings of poetry by Jan Zahradníček and Vlastimil Třešňák - all at the intersection of human voice and electric guitar. https://marieputtnerova.cz/
