Architecture Day: Kopřivnice - Last Visit to the Old School

A guided tour of the closed former primary school on Husova Street before its conversion into apartments and a library. Led by Jan Kraut, the city architect.

The building dates from 1910 and was designed by builders Vojtek and Rossmann. It housed the Czech civic boys' and girls' school. The original structure, together with a later extension, served its purpose until 2009, when it closed due to declining enrollment. The planned renovation is scheduled to begin at the end of 2026.
