On the Edge of the Land

The production "On the Edge of the Land" by the ensemble tYhle (CZ) invites audiences into a fantastical world inhabited by extraordinary creatures, where humour, intimacy, and difference create their own rules of coexistence. The international movement theatre collective works with original masks and physical theatre techniques. The creative team draws freely from the archetypal motif of a journey - encounters with unknown beings and discovery of their way of life.

The programme begins with a sensory walk in darkness: audiences gradually, in small groups, become acquainted with materials, spaces, and the landscape of imaginary creatures through touch, smell, and sound. This is followed by an adapted version of the performance with enhanced sound and musical elements.
