Description was written before the event

Smoke machine on a tripod, spotlights, waiting for it to warm up. The pathos of a product presentation. Space and depth become visible through smoke, then disappear within it. About technology that displays nothing, only changes the conditions of seeing.

We all look at the same sky, but see something different. Some see chemtrails, others see deportation planes. What is invisible, we explain through scientific models, personal experience, and conspiracy stories.

This lecture-performance about the visible and invisible emerges as open research moving between lecture, performance, and homage to one of theatre's most inconspicuous mechanisms.

The production is part of the international project "Based on a True Story", which connects ARCHA+ (Czech Republic), Komuna Warszawa (Poland), and Projekt Batyskaf (Slovakia). The project is supported by the curatorial concept of Adam Dragun (SK/CZ) and Olga Ciężkowska (PL) and focuses on contemporary theatre and performative practices working with documentary and research-based approaches. Co-financed by the European Union.
