Ty Syčáci in Piksla

Ty Syčáci is a Brno-based trio formed in 2000 on the initiative of Petr Váša - a poet, singer, visual artist, performer and founder of physical poetry. The band consists of Petr Váša (vocals and physical poetry), Petr Zavadil (guitars, vocals and percussion) and Tomáš Fröhlich (bass guitar, vocals and keyboards).

The band's music blends rock, experiment, jazz, Moravian folk, storytelling, poetry and absurd humour. They replace a conventional drum kit with percussion, unusual rhythmic instruments and body percussion - Ty Syčáci ignore genre conventions and maintain their own musical language.
