School is the Foundation of Life

A vibrant theatrical tapestry of the lives of teachers and students, freely adapted from Martin Friče's film "School - Foundation of Life", which was based on Jaroslav Žák's humorous prose "Teachers and Students".

The narrative weaves in popular songs from the 1930s, connected by the then-new phenomenon of radio. The epilogue follows the fates of the young protagonists as a social aftermath of wartime and post-war turbulence.
