A string quartet brings Coldplay's greatest hits to the Church of St. Wenceslas in Opava on Friday, 29 May 2026. This is the first stop of the Czech leg of the tour, followed by June performances in Liberec and Slatiňany. The Church of St. Wenceslas, a former Dominican temple consecrated in 1336, provides a unique setting for the concert — hundreds of candles illuminate the space during performances of "Fix You", "Yellow", and "Viva La Vida". The show begins at 19:00; tickets from 690 CZK are available exclusively through the smsticket network. The event is accessible to visitors aged 12 and above.

About the venue: Church of St. Wenceslas

The Church of St. Wenceslas in Opava is a former Dominican church consecrated in 1336. After the monastery was dissolved during the Josephine reforms in 1786, it served as a military warehouse and later as a theatre props store. Today it is managed by the municipal cultural organisation OKO and, as a deconsecrated venue with a capacity of 400–600 people, hosts concerts, exhibitions, social events and civil wedding ceremonies.
