The Secret of the Jungle

Nine-year-old Elisabeth spends her summer holidays with her family at a research station deep in the Amazon rainforest, where her father works as a cartographer. When her father falls from a ladder and her mother takes him to the hospital, Elisabeth is left to watch her younger brother Leo - but she prefers reading her book, and Leo wanders off into the jungle.

Elisabeth sets out to find him before her parents return. Along the way, she overcomes her own fears, finds her brother, and makes a new friend. Together they must outwit a trio of poachers hunting rare animals in the forest.

Their trail leads them to the mysterious Devil's Mountain, where they face off against the poachers with help from members of a secret tribe - and their new animal companion Fluff, a member of a previously undiscovered species.
